CCIAP Launched the “First Mondays” Networking Event
The CCIAP successfully launched its very first “First Mondays” networking event on 6 November 2006 at Café Mindoro. This initiative aims to bring together like minded people and give them the opportunity to network with the Australian Filipino business community, academia and professionals.
There was a good group gathered that evening. It was a very informal and casual get-together and all were encouraged to mingle and introduce themselves to each other. Everyone had a chance to get up and say something about themselves and about what they do. Drinks were served at happy hour special prices and canapés were served – compliments of Café Mindoro. Jorge da Cunha, a member and the CEO of JDC Designs and Planning, sponsored the evening and donated the prizes for the raffle and business card draw. Thank you, Jorge!
